They don't tempt me anymore unless I want to take up weight lifting.
if you think this is heavy then dont get the soumi. at least this you can remove the bipod.
I owned a Soumi, sold it the next day, heavy as a train wheel.
Right now I have 3000 plus rounds of 9 mm but no 9mm since I got out of restricted, for a reason, wink wink,
Any suggestions what I should buy?
The Ruger PCC either standard or tactical depending how much money you want to spend. And don't look back. I have a standard one for over a year and I'm extremely satisfied. It's one of the best Ruger products. The other one I love is the Ruger American Ranch (7.62x39 for me).
Actually if you look at the ads carefully you will see that most people are just trying to recoup their original purchase price. Most of the ones asking in the $2000 range include a drum mag that is a $200 item.Yes, I was looking at it, also kind of tempted to buy the TNW.
Looking at the EE, how can people ask $2,000 for a blued LMG when there will be hundreds available this week from the dealers? Sure, when you compare to the prices on g..post.

For example:
T81 LMG = $1500
drum mag = $200
Sub-total = $1700
Tax (e.g. 13% in Ontario) = $192
Total = $1892
If the $2000 includes shipping you're adding another $30-$60 depending on where it's going and insurance so the seller is really only just about breaking even.
Some have extra mags which are $29 ea. or a sling for the same amount. The spare parts kit is another $150. So if someone bought the LMG, a drum mag, a sling and a parts kit plus tax they would have to sell for $2125 just to get their money back.
The prices for the LMGs have not jumped like those for the original T81s. Maybe it's because there were more LMGs brought in and they are easier to get or because they cost $500 more than the T81s.

I mean if you're going to buy a rifle new, never use it then try and get the entire cost back you're being a bit daft. It's second hand and no amount of claims of it never being used or being new are going to hold water when someone can buy a literally new one, pay less tax (5% vs say 12%) and get postage included.
As with cars and many other items the moment it leaves the showroom it loses value
I love the old fudds on here who think the gun depreciates like a car. Likely it's because they're mad they have to pay $3 for a loaf of bread now and 20 ought six years ago they didn't have to and that's not what it was like when they were in the navy lmao. Go back to your retirement home, relics. Morons dont understand supply and demand. Especially now. Unrestricted and therefore untraceable rifles are gold now. Wake up, sheep.
