i am going coyote hunting to day. i will be hunting with a semi auto topped with a fixed four power scope and using 223 ammo . it is one of those guns that is not on the list. it will be good for me to get out and off the farm as the lock down has been lifted to day.

Can't beat a semi for coyote hunting Southern Ontario..

hey fellow hunters i am back from the hunt . we got two coyotes going with the hounds out of one block and into the next. the rest of the crew were still gunning for them in a hawthorn creek bottom when i left for chores . i did not get to fire my gun but i did get to see a coyote running across the road about a hundred yards ahead. the snow is deep and he was slowed down in it . a police car pulled up just as it crossed and he stopped to talk. his advice was to get as many as we could.the crew has shot about forty five this winter not counting a few during the deer hunt.as for my gun it suits me well and is suitable for those running shots as coyotes can really cover ground. billy Blair should get out and try it instead of making life miserable for hunters and sport shooters . he would have a much better success if he was friends with us instead of making enemy's. Israel hammer for the win.

I use .223 semi auto for whitetail in MB, excellent caliber.

good to here about other hunters using these guns in the field. at one time we could legally hunt here in Ont. with our AR15. i had a young hunter with me to day and he owned a gun that was banned . i am sure he worked hard to buy that gun and now he is forced to borrow a gun to hunt with. thanks for nothing Trudeau. you are a bully of the worst kind in my opinion.

Yup used to hunt coyotes i Norfolk County with a Colt in the late 80s 90s.. now they took away my ability again with my semis

Yes here in sask any resident can shoot as many as they want any time of the year without any licence at all.

i hear a .223 is 3 times more deadly than a 22

its only used in fully semi automatic sniper assault rifles and no one NEEDS one of those.....

I have almost 3 decades experience trapping and hunting. All that experience has taught me that a semi automatic rifle is always better than any other action of rifle. One shot kills are normal for me but multiple targets are as well and manually reloading is always slower. That’s my choice and anyone that thinks anyone else shouldn’t have that choice go pound sand.
