My goodness! Those are some really nice guns! If I posted a pic of the shotguns I use to shoot "at" clays, I would likely get banned! :p

This is my Perazzi MT6 which I have had for many years. This gun was ahead of its time as it was one of the first shotguns with factory installed choke tubes. Also has barrel selector which is great when shooting sporting clays. Stock is a factory upgrade but doesn't have the "WOW" that Spanks stock has.

Beauty! Love the MT6's with the striped receivers!! That gun is in beautiful condition. You've taken great care of it!

I love that your black lab is like "dude - when the gun comes out I stick to you like glue! Cause...we're gonna go, like, together, right?!?!?!". Mine is no different.

Best,

Brobee

From the exotic to the mundane. My current Beretta 682X Trap. If you have spent any amount of time shooting competitive trap you have seen these and have probably been been beaten by one too. Pleasant wood, great unaltered condition on a 35 year old gun, Beretta over/unders usually fit me well and there is almost always one or more in this house. These guns are very rugged, easily capable of 80,000 to 100,000 rounds with reasonable care, then rebuild them for about $300 in parts and do it all over again. If Berettas are your fit and you shoot trap you couldn't do better than a good used 682 for a club level gun. I've had 4-5 of these in different configurations over the years, never had any problem whatsoever.

This is a Perazzi Comp 1 built in 1968. It bears a striking resemblance to the MX8. Years ago I sent it to Briley for choke tubes and skeet tubes in 20, 28 and 410. One of my favourite clay target shotguns. I had the stock and forend refinished and it now looks better than new. I have owned it for over 40 years and it has never required a single mechanical repair.

I went in a bit of a different direction in building a do-all clays gun.

I started with a basic 391 sporting, had an adjustable rib installed back when Moneymaker Gun Works was still in business, ordered a nice parallel target stock from Cole and installed a adjustable comb. (most stressful saw cut I have ever made!)

I can adjust the pattern up and down and it is soft to shoot all day long, albeit a tad heavy with the recoil dampener in the stock. I run a T&S shell catcher on it for trap. All other games, I gotta pick up shells....the one downside to a vegimatic.

Of course...a few years after, Beretta came out with the multi-target...

Wow! Thats a beauty of an auto! That wood is awesome looking! Is that rib adjustable poi?

This was a Rizzini Fierce 1 I purchased new at Prophet River in 2015. CCH receiver, 32' bbls with adj POI rib, factory screw chokes, turkish walnut stocks and factory supplied case. I later sold it to purchase a new JEG Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III Trap w/ EELL wood.
