K98k muzzle device Identification

Hey, can anyone identify this muzzle device that is on my Israeli K98k. Blueing is pretty identical to the rifle but I have not been able to find any information on it.

Looks a bit like a rifle grenade attachment.it would make sense in Israeli K98.
