Are there any suppliers of reasonably cheap-ish .303 that are still in stock?

Found some Sellier & Bellot for 1.30/round from G4C using Ammobin.ca a few months ago, regret not buying more when it was available...

I know this doesn't answer your question but in case you reload or you are thinking about starting to reload when ammo and also components are in short supply here's some brass
.303 British Brass by Prvi, per bag of 100. $85.00
one bag left

(Update 2/24/21, 30 bags left. the price is now $90 per 100)

you need to start casting to have a ready supply of projectiles for your 303b. everything is getting expensive as well as hard to find and sourcing components will only get worse.

Start casting with the Lee 185-grain .312 mould, alox them, load with 13 grains of Red Dot. Gives you a nice mid-range load, not a lot of recoil, accurate to gophers out to about 300.

Just over a dime a shot.

Any sizing after or just alox and shoot them right out of the mold?

Cabela’s had it on for $1/round a year or so ago. I bought 500 rounds. Other than that, the simple answer to your question is no, nobody has any reasonably cheapish ammo available to my knowledge. One solution I used to do was pull down 7.62x54r and reuse the powder and bullets in the .303. It goes bang, and is quite dirty. I never checked accuracy.

Just be careful, as a full case of 7.62x54r is too much powder for the 303. Work up a load.

That sounds like a lot of work, some of this ammo is lacquered and very hard to pull the bullet out of.
Instead I would rather buy the Campro 303 Britisch 180 grains for less than 200 bucks per 500 (so about $0.45 a piece taxes in) and reload those.

Assuming you can find them in stock, that wouldn't be a bad way to go.

That said, last time I bought 7.62x54r, it was $10/20 rounds and includes the powder so assuming you have brass its ~55c a round to load. I think thats cheaper than buying components. I wouldn't want to pull down 500 rounds, but 20 or 40 rounds to be able to get out and shoot my enfield isn't bad.
