Went for a drive to the local gun store not expecting much would be in stock. This Henry arrived there yesterday and listed on webpage this morning... and I knew if I hesitated, it would be gone. 45-70 was the last hole in my collection after selling my Marlin. Nicely made, light, and adjustable sights... Wife is going to kill me.

Never been too keen on a big game centrefire that loads like a tubular 22. It's just so wrong like a 1911 in 9mm! But hey it's your money.

It's all a matter of getting used to it. It's actually quite pleasant and easy to load and unload. 22 rimfire, on the other hand, is quite fiddly because of their size. If you need more than 4+1 in 45-70, you have no business in the shooting arts.
