$1500 tax return money... wife doesn't know about... buy what?

Gents; shoulder is feeling tingly. She's quite the shooter, easy feeding and fast. She's also lighter than my last Marlin 1895. Me liking it alot. After 20 rounds (no real target or trying to be precise) I can say it hits point of aim at 40 or so metres. Barely any carbon on the bolt face, which is a good thing as I hate cleaning lever guns. Wow, what a bark. Need better hearing protection. :)

Purchase what you want, but hiding a tax return from your wife is not something I would do. But that is only me.

You'll have lots of fun with the Henry & even more giggles if ye be into reloading with cast boolits at modest velocities. ;)

Get a huglu or cz side by side with dual hammers. I think profit river has a two barrel set one for under 1500. If I had the money that's what I'd do lol.

I have one of those Huglu Hammer Classic shotguns , mines the 30 inch barrels. It’s great , I’ve put about 500 shells through it so far clay shooting and it’s doing very well. I definitely would recommend one if that’s something you’re looking at.

buy bulk ammo and keep the receipt so when she finds it in a few months you can show her its value increased lol. Investing!

give it to your wife

I would hedge that bet: If you are going to consider all or some of it being spent on or given to the spouse, spend up to half of it on yourself. (I think the symbolism is potentially critical, if she finds out you spent less than half on her it may be worse than if she finds out you spent it all on yourself.)
