I've seen a few bigger black bears here over 6', down the Yukon river and on the Stewart river. Not that any Yukon BB will be considered huge. they all seem to make great sausage, not sure why most people shy away from bear meat as its usually great
it is. i ve seen some nice ones on the side of KNP. try the ribs that i posted on recipe that my wife did few years ago. we are trying when i will be off again.

My buddy was in Whitehorse for a few years back in the 80's. He says summers are amazing, but the 50 weeks between summers are much less inviting lol.
That haul would take me a week to get!
Have caught a 24", 27", 29", 32" and a 36" Lake trout so far this year.
