Poll: Satisified with Norinco HP9-1 or unsatisfied

To all users of the Norinco HP9-1 shotgun, are you happy with the shotgun yes or on?

About the only thing I can think I would have liked to have it come with is removable choke tubes, and ghost ring sights.

It would have prob' added a whole $5 Can to the Chinese manufacturing price.

Works as well as my Remington.

Mine has a Knoxx stock and a sidesaddle shell holder. It feeds and shoots every time. For $350.00 from CGN what's not to like?

Fine working shotgun for what it is. If you buy it thinking you have a 2000 dollar Benelli, you'll be disapointed. If you buy it know you have a 3-400 dollar beater shotgun that performs well for the price, than you'll be happy.

My Norinco trigger group was broken on mine... but I bought a Wingmaster group to replace it

The barrel was also slightly off centered - but I was getting a Dlask barrel anyway.

The stock furniture and the receiver were much higher quality than the 870Express though (I bought it for the receiver).

Put a lot of slugs and buckshot through mine. Also fired a few hundred rounds of birdshot at claypigeons. It's been bouncing around under the seat of my truck for six months now and only been cleaned twice since I got it and the thing just keeps going. Only thing I would like would be better sites and removable choke tubes.

I put through well over 1000 rounds bird shot, approx 100 00buck and slugs. The only problem was one shell had trouble ejecting (during rapid-fire). Once.

I would definately buy another in a heartbeat.

I wonder why that is? Maybe Remington's patent on the tubes and sight have not expired yet?

Yes, very good.

I have also owned Win1200 and Nork Ithaca clone - not pleased with them.

I like mine. I just got it actually and have only fired about a dozen or so shots out of it, but it seems to be solidly built, I don't mind the trigger and the price was definitely right.
