I remember a Ruger collection at that show that was top drawer. Every Ruger ever made, in 95-100% condition.1980-90's sometime.
I was a Stevens , and Marlin Ballard collector at that time, so 20K Winchesters and Henry's just did not cut it for me.
 
My co-workers know I own guns, but not which ones or how many [they all own guns too]
My immediate neighbors know I hunt and shoot, but nothing beyond that.
My friends know a little bit about my guns
My close friends know a fair amount about my firearms.
My wife is aware of my Gunsafes, but beyond that - ??
 
I only take picture and post when they go on EE. Otherwise safely tucked away in safe and remain a secret. I don't talk about it where I live, a liberal stronghold with with many retired GTA yuppies or younger families with kids who sold their houses for over a $million in GTA and bought cheaper houses outside of GTA and are pissing off the small local redneck population.

This particular rifle is As New in the original factory box, but desperately needs to attend a plains game safari.

A great many people know I'm a gun guy, but not many know what I have or where I live. I value my privacy.

I've had non-gun people ask me how many guns I own. In my culture, that's a rude and invasive question. The stock answer is "Never quite enough".
 
I have an Axis that I bought 8 or so years ago. I kinda went down the rabbit hole with that one. Bought a trigger, stock and a scope that’s worth 4 times what I paid for the original rifle. It shoots well and I like shooting it, but it’s not something I like to talk about. Haha! Also if I owned any really valuable or rare guns I’m not the type to divulge that. Good thing I don’t own any. :)
