What kind of stock is that on your mossberg?
It's a 1988 Benelli M1 Field that was imported to the US by HK. Sometime it made it's way to Canada and in one side or the other it was converted.
The barrel clamp is off now for the reasons you noted, so I'm just rolling with the factory +2 until I get a different clamp.
Had my shorty out today too;
Mesa tactical adaptor with an Ace M4 SOCOM buttstock.
Looks like Ace now belongs to Doublestar.
Yup to both, I've been using it or similar for years on a Mossberg.
Unrelated, had my Benelli 121 out yesterday and we tried to outrun the trigger...
We couldn't...

Thx. That 870 pictured has a factory 14inch barrel. I have a dlask 12.5 that is a lil heavy but good barrel. I would say current set up 870 is a touch lighter
Tactical to the max! Very nice..i guess shes a lil heavy all loaded up
When he finally runs out of ammo, he can still stab the target

I don't keep the sling on it full time. I'm thinking of replacing it with a single point harness and a bandoleer.
It's a hoot to waist fire with the 2 3/4's. It was more of a "because I can" build... Almost every piece including the 590 from the EE!
My son calls it the Zombie gun.
