Going to load some trailboss powder in 7.62x39 brass, closest cast bullets i could find were 115g .312. Going to be used in a cz 527, do i need to resize to like .309 or .310?

As long as they will chamber and not bind at the neck when chambering you should be OK. I had some .312 FMJ pulled bullets and tried one and it chambered fine in my HOWA -Mini . They also shot great . Low pressure load so no extraction issues.

You want cast bullets to be .001 to .003" bigger then the bore to stop leading from happening. As long as the loaded round drops right in the chamber it will be fine.

You need to make sure there is enough neck clearance for the neck to expand to let the bullet go. So as long as it drops freely in the chamber you are good to go.

With good fitment ( over size) you can push them pretty hard without issues. I run plain base cast upto 1800fps with out issues and gas checked to 2400fps. The right lube is important

I loaded the 115gr .312 Campro with 12 gr of 2400.
I got 1'' group at 50m in my Howa mini.
At 100 the groups were wider than expected.
I contacted Campro guys to confirm the bullets can be pushed a lot harder. ( Campro stated their bullets can be pushed as much as jacketed bullets )
I just loaded some with D4895. I will see on thursday.

On my first attempt , a shoulder colapse under that flat base bullet.
I then flaired the mouths of the cases and applied light crimp after seating.

Have fun !

Mine thrives on H4198 or IMR4198.........buddy uses RE#7 and his daughter dropped a moose with that last fall.Groups shrunk 50% just switching to magnum primers now getting 1/2" @ 100 yards.

Which bullets are you talking about ?

I got 1 moa with Sierra PH 125 and BLK.

My plinking load with campro cost $0,22 a bang.

Price is no object when looking for a hunting load though.

She fed her moose a 123gr Privi SP at 75 yards about 14-16" penetration and 30% weight retention /no core separation. My CZ 527 pet load is Privi brass/123gr Hornady or Privi SP/Fed mag primer/25.5gr H4198 under 1/2" at 100 yards.25gr H4198 shot the same so I went with the warmer load.......not chronied.
For 150gr Sierra SP /.311 /29gr -H335/Privi brass/Fed mag primer 3/4" at 100 yards.[should be around 2000+ fps]
Never shot any game with them yet but also carry a mag with Barnes .310 -123gr TSX for special occasions.
3gr of Bullseye and a 90gr cast Tokarev pistol bullet is a great chicken or BG finisher.

Thanks Sir for your input.

I have Sierra 150 and more powders to test.

For moose , i have more powerful options.

But i don't doubt this caliber can do the job if carefully used within certains parameters.

It's the Indian not the arrow. [Also want to work out a small game load with the .311 /71gr Canpro .32ACP bullet]

I shoot .312" copper plate bullets out of my CZ carbine. It is the fit in the chamber throat that matters most to pressures, not bore size. If you have adequate clearance in the chamber throat your oversize bullets will swage down that couple thousandths of an inch without pushing up pressures much. But if your chamber throat is tight, the pressures can go dangerously high very easily. When loading larger diameter than "normal" cast bullets, I usually just do the simple check you referred to - if a bullet slips easily into the fired / not sized brass , there will not be a problem with excess pressure if normal loading precautions are followed of loading a starting load and working up.
