Bell and Carlson 700 stock

Looking at getting another B&C stock. Sporter style. Two options. One for a heavy barrel and the other for a regular barrel.

Would a sendero fit in the heavy barrel?

I emailed Bell and Carson this is the response:

The barrel channel on that stocks measures 1.35" at the receiver and tapers to 1.05" at the muzzle of the barrel channel. This stock can be opened up to accept a straight taper barrel that measures 1.25".

So it will fit the Sendero if anyone is interested.

I have a few of the M40 stocks. Just I thought about trying something a bit different. Hopefully it fits. Going by the email I got it should.

I bought a Remington 700 Long Range in 30-06 last year. That gun has a heavy barrel

It came from the factory with this a B&C M40 stock ....

And I replaced that stock with a B&C Target & Competition .... and it was a drop in ..... worked flawlessly.

Yes it is. But sometimes some think Heavy barrel and Magnum barrel are the same. I have bought a stock for a Heavy barrel once...

I don't like opening up stocks if I don't have to.
