i have a pair of all leather lowa brand hunting boots .when out hunting in the woods they squeak .any ideas to what product to use on them .

They sound like they aren't broken in yet (pardon the pun). If you can, wear em here & there for a few weeks & see if the squeak doesn't go away as the leather adjusts to your feet.

Other than that, I've had good results with Dubbin. Helps keep the moisture out pretty effectively too.

might try neets foot oil (not sure if its spelled right) or some other type of leather softener/conditioner. dont used to much or the leather will go to limp.

good places are ether high end shoe stores. or horse riding tack shops. (horsemans one step for saddles works ok)

I had the same problem with my "issue gortex cold/wet weather boots", they would squeak non stop, even after my 3rd year of breaking in? So this wknd with my B-Day money I bought me a pair of "Muck Hunter Boots" there good till -27c, they're light, waterproof and comfy!!
I used Dubbin on my 1st Gen issue Gortex and it worked great, the only problem with those boots were they don't breath, I still wear them in the early fall and around the yard. Anything to soften the leather seams wise, to rid the squeak, I did'nt apply any of this to my cold/wet weather boots cause I don't want to have to pay for them.

x2 on the Neatsfoot oil

Kind of depends on where they squeak. Sometimes the linings/layers in the soles come lose and squeak. Nothing can be done about it either. Have a pair of CF combat boots that do it. Makes me crazy.
Leather on leather squeaks can usually be fixed with dubbin or other shoe grease.
That's Lowa brand is it not? They're made in Europe. Germany, I think. They have a one year warrantee. At least in the U.S. Contact Lowa USA.

neets foot oil . warm it up and pull the leather away
where it meets the sole and put lots on all the way around
this cured my squeeky gortex boots. i allmost forgot, i warmed the boots also in the oven. not to hot just warm to make the oil soak up faster. the squeak was in between
layers in the sole.

i actually changed the round laces to flat ones to tighten my boots up with .also put some neets foot oil on the leather .seems better so far .

Boot squeeks often come from the sole-midsole area. The two layers slipping against each other. For many year I bought custom made boots from Pierre Paris in Van. The second to last pair I bought squeeked so bad I couldn' t wear them hunting or any place else where people might be in ear shot. There was no acceptable cure for this pair. Period ; as I don't want the sole of my foot slathered in neat's foot or any other oil. The end result was garbage which was a major disappointment after a lot of years wearing the product. I wore a couple pairs of their light cruisers with no problems but that pair was a bust. The firm is long gone now and that's a shame as the following ordered boots were up to their normal standard.
