Has anyone else received an X95 from the latest order that came with a crappy chinese norinco knock off magazine in brown wax paper? I have reached out to the vendor and haven’t received a reply. The rivet is so large the magazine doesn’t even chamber and I guarantee IWI did not make this magazine nor is it STANAG.

Looking for anyone else who recently ordered to see if this is an isolated incident and no need to mention the vendor at this time.

Frustrating when you spend 2800 and get nickel and dimed on a basic component.

I wouldn't even waste my time on a factory issued mag. In fact I dont. I have a stack of them I have never used. If im gonna drop good money on a rifle, Im going to use good mags. Personally I wouldn't waste my time calling a dealer because of a sheit magazine.

To me it is the principle. It came with a better magazine guaranteed. I paid for it and they swapped it out with garbage. I have stacks of magazines too. If your car came with the wrong sized spare tire would you shrug it off?

Mine came with duramag (c products defense), I just get some pmag (Magpul PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3)or cross industries mag both works good on my x95.

Not quite the same rifle, but my new Tavor came with a cheap soft case. The zipper broke the first time I opened it. The tab was made of white metal and in the garbage it went. Like wtf is that all about?

If it’s a new purchase you should expect the FACTORY mags and parts , absolutely .
If I bought a Dodge Ram I’d be pissed if it had Ford badging .

Got mine a couple months ago and it came with a Tapco. I wasn’t very thrilled either. And mine also came with a cheap soft case, no box. Sold to me as new from Al Flaterys. Wasn’t sure what was up and decided not to bother wasting my time asking. Got one so I was happy. Mine came with manual and cleaning kit.

The old switcharoo..

Mine came with the IWI case, cleaning kit, manual, magazine.

The magazine was high quality, steel, and worked fine, pinned to 5, forget it's name. The case was a tad small as you couldn't have optics on the rifle and put it in the case. Bought mine from Red Deer Shooting Center.

Got mine from the last batch less than 2 weeks ago. Same cheap mag in brown bag. Haven't used it yet but the mag doesn't drop free when hitting the mag release and doesn't seat very well, fits very tight. No manual also. I pulled the PDF version of the latest X95 manual off the IWI US website (the Israeli site doesn't provide manuals), but I'm not even sure if that's the correct one..
