Does anyone know where I might find some IMR4064?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Canadaammo has D4064 which is very similar to IMR 4064, uses the same load data minus 10%. I've been using it, really happy with it. Very good price.
What's the temp sensitivity like on D and IMR4064? Say anywheres from -15 to +26. Really wanna get a jug of D4064 but I don't wanna work a load up in 26 degrees and have it go wonky at -15
Sorry to hijack
By the time I ordered the jug and got everything loaded to test I'd probably be hovering around the +15 mark consistently. Deer season was stupid warm last year but it can go from +10 today to -20 the next day in deer season here. The temp sensitivity factor for IMR 4064 is 0.45, which means you can expect to loose or gain 0.45 fps when the temp goes respectively down or up 1 degree Fahrenheit. The POI should not change much with IMR 4064 but the speed will. Whether it is significant for your hunting and rifle, it is only your testing in these temps which can tell. I usually test my load at around 5-6 degrees C because this is the average temp at which I hunt deer (Temp range -3 C to 10 C here in Nova scotia). IMR 4166 is more temp stable and close in burning rate to IMR 4064, if you can find it these days....
from -15 to +26c every powder will need adjusting.
