I also have a K-20 three barrel set, but I do prefer the balance and feel of the F-3. If I had purchased the F-3 first, I would have just added barrels for the F-3 , and would have never purchased the K-20. I bought my F-3 out of the Vancouver Town Post of all places, with about 1000 rounds fired, for about half the price of a new Vantage.

I don’t need a range membership. My neighbour has a 100 plus acres. We shoot there. He has one of those cheaper clay throwers you lock back by hand.
I would like to find a better one used that’s automatic

Nice shotgun. I think you are a bit over gunned for hand thrown clays, lol. Most hand thrown clays are busted at the distance that they come out of the house at a range.
I don’t think you understood. It’s a machine with foot release peddle. You load one clay at a time manually. A slow process to say the least. It’s Not the hand held thing you use for throwing your dogs ball. Lol.
Hand thrown, or manual target thrower, not a lot of difference, if anything, the hand thrower is less predictable.

I'd have spent less on the gun and the rest on a decent thrower, you're way over gunned for the type of thrower you describe.

Sorry for the delay. Was a busy week. But my new shotgun came in today. Had to raise my budget quite a bit and sell something I didn’t want to.
I didn’t go Italian this time. I ended up going German
This is my brand new Blaser F3 Super Sport with 32” barrels, 3” chambers and has grade 5 wood. Which looks amazing.
The receiver is a bit plain. Has a matte black finish. But looks well made.
Also comes with all weights as well for adjusting weight balance. The case is super nice too.

LOL. Not so sure. You develop a relationship - a closeness - with an F3. I don't think I'd have the same inclination to tuck a claybot in at night. It will absolutely be the showpiece of the Saturday afternoon Pasture Trap league. FWIW, I've broken hand thrown targets in the field with my F3 - but the sporting clays course is WAY more fun.

I've developed a closeness with a lot of guns over the years but manually loading a thrower with one target at a time gets old real fast... of course, maybe not for some folks.

I will get back to you with a range report from my $750 Turk shotty - it should be here on Tuesday from Prophet. Prob have 6 boxes through it by Sunday.
