It's addicting, trust me. I got my PAL in April of 2006, and I already have 9 firearms.
Now you need a semi-auto .22

30 rounders are available for the 597, and I'm sure more accesories will become available as time goes on. Don't buy into the hype. Out of the box, the Remington will outshoot the Ruger for less than half the price.

Where? I did some quick searching, and none of the 597 fans I ran across had any idea of anyone making any. I'm sure they'd be happy to hear that there indeed are some out there.

When I got mine, Jordan gave me some great advice: Clean the bore! I could not believe the crap that was in it nor how long it took me to get it clean. My most recent groups with CCI Standard Velocity at 50 m. were .7, .63, and .35 inch for 5 shot groups with a 12 power Leoplold. Great rifle and a great starter.

They're out there, do a search for the threads relating to them, I'm sure most gun stores either stock them, or can order them for you from South of the border.
As for the mag loaders, I have no idea. My hands always worked fine.
