Form 6 these days?

Has anyone attempted a Form 6 renewal lately?

I was wondering if I am wasting my time submitting it with the border still closed, just wondering if anyone has tried it.

I am hoping it opens sometime later this year and would like to be ready.

I got one match in last March before it slammed shut, but that Form 6 has expired.

I put mine in in September and got it back 10 days later. Longer than the usual 3 to 5 days, but still pretty good considering.

It'll take ten minutes... Lol.
If you do t now, you'll be ahead of the rest who sit on their thumbs waiting for the border to open.
I usually get mine every January... havent bothered yet this year, but... thanks for the reminder

Not so much wasting time as in the preparation.

I was just wondering if ATF were approving them at all now with border shut.

I snail mailed my Form 6NIA on 05 February 2021 and I received the approved form back by email on 27 March 2021, 2 days ago.

Since Junior announced our ATT's to transport your restricted firearms to the border on 07 July, how many have asked their CFO's for a short term ATT from their house to the border? Alberta CFO took a week for a "just in case the border opens" STATT for me later this month.

Not border ATT's but a couple of local folks got new paper ATT's to Bruce's last week, 80 minutes on hold but had their permits in 15 minutes after the call. Funny thing about them is that the husband was offered a 5 yr "long term" if he wanted it...but it was only specific to the one gun club....but his wife was offered a full 3 province long term without asking for it.

I have always just put my info under manufacturer
