Does anybody here know of any custom stock makers in Canada would could make a stock for a Marlin 1894? I'd like to get a straight butt stock made for my levergun made from polymer or perhaps reinforced wood to make it more durable in the elements. It surprises me how hard it is to find aftermarket stocks for these rifles considering how long they have been around and are still used.

Any comments, advice and/or messages on point would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Depending on the condition and aesthetic beauty of your existing stock, painting with a durable (rubberised) product is always an option to seal it from the elements.

Or, if you can find some old Ram-Line/Champion synthetic stocks, they might serve your purpose. Some people like them, some people hate them.
