Any recommendations to add a pic rail to my 870?

I asked around some gun shops in vancouver here and no one wants to seem to touch that. Just want to add a simple pic rail and put ghost rings or a red dot sight on it...

Try Rusty Wood Trading our in Mission, Dlask as well might be worth calling or dropping by.

Honestly though it’s not a hard job, if you have any experience with a drill press and tapping holes by hand the hardest part of the job will be laying things out straight and marking holes for drilling.

Thanks, i'll email you guys for a quote.

Called Dlask today, zero answer during business hours. Also placed an order 2 days ago, it was charged to my cc, but zero ship notification.

Are these guys even in business?

They are a small busy mainly manufacturing business and not a gun shop, they have a small front office and not a storefront. Try calling back if you don’t reach anyone, alternatively try email. I’ve always had quick email correspondence with Leigh as well as quick chats by phone, you can do drop in (pre scamdemic times) but they want you to call first before you drop in.

Your welcome, they are good to deal with and are one of the two places I look first when I need 870 parts. They have lot of 870 take off stock sets and barrels at great prices, extra bits from when they manufacture their short backpacker 870’s. Sometimes they’re very busy and not out front when the phone rings.

I did end up actually taking my 870 to dlask, unfortunately they quoted me a week to do the work -- almost 3 weeks later still wasn't completed.

I ended up buying their 14.5" barrel and scrapping the rail system - I see remington makes a side folder with a mlok compatible forend so I may actually just put my money down on that instead in the future
