Chiappas mares leg 357! Help needed !

I am looking for a buttstock for my model 1892 Chiappas mare's leg take-down rifle!

Anybody has any clues where to find them?

I've contacted Chiappas and no response...

In theory Chiappa pretty closely copied the Winchester dimensions. So you could likely order a winchester 1892 butt stock from Boyds etc. But be prepared to do some fitting regardless of who you order from.

Western gun parts sells them, $159 for a finished buttstock. I have not tried to fit mine yet, as I was thinking of making a butt stock extension that connected to the short butt by some kind of twist-on system. Bayonet lug or magnets....

That sounds like a great idea. Maybe it slides on with a locking pin? I would call Chris Griesbach to do it right.
