What is the going rate for 1000 Federal xm855?

Just curious what the going rate for this ammo is right now. Seems to be pretty rare. Can't seem to find any for sale right now from my quick search.

I paid $1250 for a crate of 1640 rounds a couple of weeks ago. Prices have gone up.

Wow! If anyone wants to pay an absurd price like this let me know. Glad I have enough to not ever worry. I thought the 0.50c/rnd I paid was too much considering how genuinely crappy the stuff is for accuracy compared to plain FMJ.

the federal xm855 is far worse in accuracy than the actual issued 62gr steel core. If anyone has a surplus of the good stuff, lmk.

there's a few extra $$ for the crate and NEW ammo cans and stripper clips, not sure if they also come with bandoliers and a spoon? price for an actual crate has always been more than loose rounds but crates were sub 1000 not many months ago.

Just to note here - I've found that the Barnaul 62g in FMJ or SP are very accurate thru my Ruger American Standard. It runs around $10-15/bx at LGS here in NB.
