Seeing as it is bear season and seeing as bear size and weight seems to be subject to wild swings in size estimation i thought i would post a couple pics of one of the bears we took last fall and let people try to guess the field dressed weight. By field dressed i am referring to guts only removed. Head, hide and paws still attached. You can attempt to guess the skull size as well but the pictures are not that good for that as none really give a good view of his noggin.

Clues:
Orange toboggan is exactly 60 inches long.
Weight was field dressed as described above and measured about 24 hours after dressing at the butchers.
Guesses to be rounded to nearest 1/2 pound and skull guesses to nearest 1/8 inch. Also skull score is the green score as i have not measured the dried skull yet.
I will post the scaled weight in a day or two depending on interest.
