You too! I'm in super A elk and Pronghorn so we will see. It looks like they are trying to cull the deer in the south, some zones went from 100 to 400 tags available. My honey hole is opened up now for a limited open season first come first serve antlerless mule tag so that will be interesting. If I dont get drawn in one of those other zones that expanded to 400 tags ill have to stay up on the 15th of august and be one of the first to get a tag hahaha.

I have a fond memory of one season in the mid-90s when there were zones with one trophy and two non-trophy whitetail. One zone on the MB border had a food bank freezer truck ready to take skinned and dressed carcasses in exchange for another non-trophy tag.

If the hunting gods bless me I could potentially get 5 deer tags this year. 1 either ### WT 2 antlerless WT and 2 antlerless Mule deer. We will see regardless. I'm trying to buy a inline muzzleloader so I can get in on the 1st antlerless WT in the regina/moose jaw WMZ.

I stumped around a little bit inside that zone, but found there were too many country houses and posted fencelines. Good luck if you have a place to go.
That's the key right there, once you have good access in any city zones, you're f'n golden!!! I've shot my fair share of SWMZ mules and whitetails. With some work and access you can find some really good bucks!
