Ontario Moose First Round Results Available

We hunt 28 as well. I have 9pts and highest of guys in our group. I applied for bull/rifle and no luck, as I expected. 1 guy drew calf with 2pts although I doubt it will be claimed. Did the guy with 12pts not draw anything?
There’s always the second round if there are cow/calf tags still available or unclaimed

I understand from a few connections I have that a few tags are being returned for the second draw.
If you didn't draw anything, and still want to hunt, there's still a chance.
If you are in a hunt camp, get some of your guys to go for calf only in round 2 to be sure you have something to hunt, if you are not averse to a calf hunt.
For us, we have one bull and one calf drawn, so we will not even enter the second draw.

I'm 74 years old.
Last moose i shot was full or worms.
Mnr laughed at me when i asked for another tag.
I was told that it was ok to eat the worms.
I invited them for supper, [ no one came].
Was told not to feed it to my dog!!!
I will never apply for a tag again.
I will hunt with the indians.
Shoot what i want when i want.
I will buy my moose steaks.
I will never kiss --s again for a tag.
I'm not happy and i don't forget.
I bought a ][shoot and release 303 camera].

Last year there were only 2 bull tags allocated to 41, and close to 800 hunters after them.
Agreed Brad This 65 year old "junior member" can't convince the group. Would love to try NFLD like you did once in my life.

Looks like everyone in my group got tags. Those two with the lowest number of points will be claiming them to grow out the rest of our points and ensure the population in our wmu stays under or within harvest limits.
None of our guys drew any tag. Including my uncle with 12 points. Guess we will just for a few days at camp as work party and close it up for the winter
