Tps arms M6 scout

I was printing under about 1.5 inches at 25 meters in 357, which is not great, but I am certain I can do better with those hand loads. I have a new bullet sizer coming in the mail today, so I will get the next round of ladders loaded up ASAP.
Once I get the load dialed in I would not hesitate to use for deer.

As for lack of optics, I chose to test at close range for this reason, but they really arent that bad. If you plan to hunt deer, you can always add the scope rail and mount whatever optic you choose. The "trigger" isn't half bad. Not overly heavy, has some takeup, but breaks clean and no grit. It would easy to polish up the trigger and lighten the spring a bit. You can comfortably shoot with one finger on the trigger bar and ergonomically isnt much different in feel from a conventional trigger.

That's great, thank you!!!

I have to ask tho...what do you mean by "loading ladders"?

I have yet to jump into handloading so some of the terms are a complete unknown to me.

Loading ladders: handloading groups of cartridges with increasing powder charges (within published load data range). Go out back and shoot 5-7 rounds of each powder charge, and record the results. Sometimes just a bit more or less powder will yield far better accuracy. The key is matching the load to your individual gun.

That makes sense, thanks!!!

Myself I would really like to know if the rifle barrel shifts point of impact at 100 yards from a rest. The 357 cartridge.
The CZ made M6 in 22 Hornet has a reputation of lower points of impact in subsequent shots. A vertical group downwards.
It's just spot on fine with a cold barrel first shot. Iron sights at 100 yards. These are made to keep you flush in squirrels until rescued. The only ladder you need is one to retrieve a stubborn dead squirrel with a death grip.

Just recieved my TPS scout over/under 410 and am very happy with it.For those who are interested it ships with full chokes in both barrels. My only criticism is I wish they would of left the standard peep and V sight instead of the grooved sight they put on it.That said it is a real nice quality firearm
