Pedersoli Winchester 71 copy

I love my one. Well made rifles that shoot great with hardcast boolit loads. The 10 guage sized shotgun butt on these units in combination with the well made recoil pad really do a good job taming recoil on those 50+ round, fun shootin' sessions. The actions are slick & snug with good, crisp triggers along with very nice barrels that are cut rifled & hand straightened. No lawyer added safety BS or warning script on the barrels either. They be true to the original Win 71 layout but in 45-70, not .348 Win. I'd grab another Pedersoli 86/71 in a heartbeat if they made some chambered in .33 Winchester.;)

:)Looks good!! My first '71 was a standard grade old Winchester that:( I foolishly sold in a moment of weakness. However, I have since replaced it with another original Winchester, but in a deluxe grade, in mint shape:d. This one I keep.

I should have kept mine. My grandfather gave it to me and sadly he left it in the attic for years and it developed a bad rust spot on the barrel in the same spot both inside and outside. As a result of the rust in the bore it would not shoot a group worth poop. In hindsight I should have had it bored out or rebarrelled to 450 Alaskan and kept the old girl rock'n'rollin'.....that Pedersoli looks sweet!! Love the wood and rubber recoil pad. Mine had the factory shoulder bone crusher steel butt plate!! OUCH!!!

Fully agree with Shell Shucker. I also own one in .45-70. An excellent hunting rifle. Mine is very accurate with cast bullets, too. If you can't get your hands on one of the current Miroku-Winchester 1886 rifles(Pedersoli also offers this model, too), one of these would make a good purchase.
