Hi there. I am awaiting the arrival of my Used German Drilling in 12x12/9.3x53R. In the meantime I am putting out feelers if anyone new where I could find dies or if you had for sale. Also looking for any published load data anyone has.

I’d also be grateful if I could be pointed in the direction of some proper head stamped brass. Basically any information or equipment/reloading stuff anyone has or knows where I could find would be great.

Are you sure it's not a 9.3x53R Swiss? That would seem a more likely chambering in a Suhl combination gun.

I assumed so too and I specifically asked Corwin-Arms and he confirmed it was 9.3x53r Finnish. He tested the chamber with a primed 7.62x54r piece of brass. It chambered and went bang…. The actual gun markings did not specify though when he sent me pics.

I'm no expert on either the Swiss or Finn 9.3x53. :)

I have a dimensional drawing of the 9.3x53R Swiss, and it looks impossible to chamber a 7.62x54R in the Swiss chamber. So I'd guess you actually do have a Finn then. Interesting project. If you get it shooting you'll have to put the results on the forum. Good luck with it.

Thanks for that Jet. I have the Swiss dimensions from cartridges of the world but had not had a chance to check that. You did my work for me, haha.

I will definitely post once I have her up and running.
