Both visually and mechanically, what's the aesthetically pleasing rifle you own or have seen or used?

I was thinking either a Garand or Mauser, something similar... preferably in a full rifle caliber.

Steyr M95 rifle is my favorite.Beautiful shape, very ergonomic (for times),well balanced.

Those rifles must have been marvels of their era when they were build and in original caliber.

A tough question. For pure beauty my minty 1908 Brazilian, for beauty and accuracy a 1938 Swede. What do I shoot most- a really nice 1903A3 Springfield!

My Sako 85 Bavarian had a beautiful walnut stock. Gorgeous gun, but it literally sat in my safe unused for years so I decided to sell it to fund something I would actually use.

I’d have to go with my Greek Mannlicher Schoenauer 1903/14. It’s a beautiful rifle and a pleasure to shoot. A close second would be the Hungarian 35M.

Would have to agree, especially keeping it in the Milsurp category. Leading the way at the time, detachable magazine, adjustable gas block, effective muzzle brake. I think a scaled down version of this to the intermediate cartridge aka 7.62 x 39, with the same features of the big brother would make a better host either than the sks or the AK. I also just really like the looks of it.

Going away from the Mil-Surps but staying with rifles, I really like my 452 LUX, beautiful wood stock, and classic lines.
