Sellers remorse, tell your story

When times were tough I sold the first two and only guns gifted to me by my parents. A Toz .22, and a .303 Lee Enfield.

I see the same type .22 for sale on E.E., at 'bout 5 times what it once sold for, and the .303's are never cheap.

I sold a Browning X Bolt Carbon Fibre stock, fluted barrel, in 270 WSM, very light and very accurate. I had to sell one rifle so I listed a few and that one sold first. I have heard stories that the stocks show wear quickly so maybe it was just as well. I have seen a few for sale for about 50 % more than I sold mine for.

Regret selling everything to a fellow in Canmore. He cleaned me right out. Some of you may have similar stories.

Also before that I've been having some call backs to my first rifle savage 111 in 30-06. Really accurate, but trigger sucked, stock was flimsy, and the mag didn't always seat properly. Kind of wish I spend some money to tune her up opposed to unloading her.

I regret loading my entire gun safe into my canoe and watching it sink to the bottom of the deepest lake in Canada. Such a tragedy...

Tragedy. Great Slave Lake conditions are so unpredictable. I did, however, see a piano being played on a barge on Lake Superior once though, on its way to an Island. We observed it, from the flying bridge, safely arriving at its destiny. :)

Early model Savage 99M lever, brass rotary mag, in 358 Win. Best off-hand shooter, and could never find it listed in old catalogues.

I had a CZ BRNO 455 .22 LR… Kick myself regularly

My Last SKS, A SVT40 and a Mosien a mint Lee Enfield 4 mk 3. There have been a few more my Savage BA 110 .338 LM.
