Hi,

I recently picked up a Model 11 in 20 gauge from 1948 I believe.
I have not been able to find out value on these and looking for anyone that has seen them sold let me know ballpark on value.

One interesting thing I did discover is that it is the make and model/gauge that Kurt Cobain was shot with.

You do mean he shot himself with...
As for the value maybe $300 what did you pay for it ?
Without seeing numbers and condition I am spitting in the dark 100% .

Not as much as you would assume. Assuming its a plain field grade, there really is no collector value and you're dealing with 70 years of use and abuse.

I am new here and can’t figure out where and how to upload photos. That being said I have to think its worth much more than you think as its in near mint condition and people are getting $600 for SKS’s these days…

There is few on #######, a rough one for $600 and one at a fairly optimistic price of $1600, although looks like the same gun was in last April's switzer auction that went for $750. I have a 1948 dated 20ga skeet version, bought it for $400 about 6-7 years ago.

Just because a 99 dollar gun is selling for 600$ doesn't mean it has to make sense.
