Where to buy a Gen5 Glock 17 extended Slide Lock Lever ?

This is the takedown lever
Not to be confused with a slide stop/release lever

Apparently as the Gen5 uses a coil spring instead of a leaf spring the slide stop lever is different between the generations.

The Glock Store won't ship gun parts to Canada

FYI it doesn't have to be made by Glock just made specifically for the Gen5 Glock 17

You can order from RYG but as you will see they list their extended slide locks as fitting gen 1-5

Making no point in ordering from the US when you can find a Gen1-5 extended slide lock in Canada I am sure

I am at work otherwise I could double check for you, as I have a Gen5 and many Gen4 extended slide locks I could try fitting in the Gen5 at home
 
Seems as though this is what will make the difference if a slide lock will fit the Gen5 or not

Yea I never noticed any big differences in the part between my Gen5 and Gen3-4's, but it seems that some companies make their stops Gen5 compatible, and then when they do that they are backwards compatible for Gen1-5. On the flip side if its an older stop design that was never meant to fit Gen 5 then it wont.

Worst case you can order from RYG it just sucks waiting for and paying the shipping for such a small part, but I have done it before with RYG a few times over the years

Id give BLACKBOX a call also, a few times they have had parts in stock for me that weren't on their website yet, or were on the way to Canada, and have even brought in some parts for me on a special order pretty fast. They might have an answer for you
