Has anyone tried Prvi match ammo in their reloadings?

I was thinking of giving the 69gn 223 and the 168gn 308 a go. Or are these bullets priced cheap for a reason?

I've used them before in 6.5 with decent results, but Hornady always seemed to shoot better for any given load.

Thanks for the replies!

Just my luck I finally work up a really good load of Hornandy 68gn Match and now I can't find them anywhere...

In my Savage, I had slightly better results with Sierra 69 gr than the Hornady 68s. The Sierras might be just as difficult to find.

The big difference in Sierra 69 vs Hornady 68 is jacket thickness. If your barrel is a bit rough, the Hornady is the better choice.

Factory new-ish. So that's not an issue. Did you ever notice a difference in performance for the same weight of powders when comparing the Hornady vice the Sierra?

Privi 120gr HPBT in my 6.5 x 55 were OK, mostly sub MOA at 100 yards.

I found similar results from my 1915 Swede 95 in that they were acceptable, however the AMAX bullets were almost a one hole group by comparison.

<<snip>>.

If memory serves me correctly, the loads for the Sierra 69 gr. and Hornady 68 gr. that I used in my 223 Rem were within .2 grs of powder. The Sierra 69 grain bullets were an improvement over the Hornady at 100 yards.
