Glock 26 with Lonewolf Barrel

Hi, I got a Glock 26 with a resticted Lonewolf Barrel(I thought it is 106mm because Questar's ad show 106) but the Firearm Certificate show 108mm, I put a rod into the barrel(from muzzle to the breech face), then I measure the rod and it show 108mm.

Is it normal like this or I measured wrong?
Anyone have a same case?

You're in Vancouver so take it over to Bits of Pieces in Delta and get him to trim 2.5mm off it. I doubt it would cost much to cut and re crown. And you could also get him to blue it for you. I think it would look much better blued.

I don't think any gunsmith would risk going into the prohib region which is why you have an extra 2mm ;) It's to allow for variation in measuring and to remain on the safe (restricted) side of the law.

Well, I have a gun that he has done that says otherwise. :D More than 105 but way less than 106. He has absolutely no problem with his measurement skills. There is nothing difficult about measuring the barrel length. And registrations he does are to .01mm.

Think the real reason they are shipped into Canada with 108mm is to make it easier for the importer. 3mm is a lot and is unlikely to be even double checked by the CFC on any of the imports.

And it is an extra 3mm by the way. Has to be more than 105mm not 106mm.

CFC replied they are using the same method as me to messaure the barrel, so it is 108mm, I think Lonewolf are messauring the barrel itself. Just like the HK P7, factory is 105mm but we can say it is 106mm by our way.
