Bullets for Pedersoli pistols

I'm willing to try and buy a Pedersoli pistol (Charles Moore or Target or Bounty, not yet decided).

Do you know where I could buy bullets in these calibers: .36, .45 or .50 ?

Round balls can be had thru Becky at Hilltop Musket supplies and Rustywoods trading or directly from Track of the Wolf in the US. Most people cast their round balls.

First thing I myself would do is ask more technical details of your chosen Pedersoli firearm. Last time I checked on thier website Pedersoli is kind of vague the exact ammunition you require. Maybe some email enquiries?

Jethunter, right here on this site.

He is knowledgeable and can likely give you all of the advice you need, concerning diameter between bore and ball as well as charge weights.

Pedersoli black powder pistols are very nicely made but IMHO they use more traditional metallurgy than most realize and should be loaded in a similar manner to that of the originals they represent.

Some of the round balls offered are just to hard and soft lead balls are what you need IMHO.

@Bearhunter, thank you very much. I know Jethunter and I buy from him on a regular basis, especially for my 1892 French pistol, in 8mm lebel.
I rote him yesterday and just waiting for his answer.
