Blooded my 7RM fellas!

Regs or no regs that is sad. Do you not have people around who are less fortunate and could use the meat? Just to leave it in the bush like that and going to waste is what destroys the view of hunters around the world :(

You must lose your mind when watching what the Texans do when hunting wild hogs from a helicopter!
Many species that some consider food are considered nothing but varmints in other areas of the World.
Plus, the misunderstanding many have with animals local to other places is crazy, elephants for example.
People who know little or nothing about them complain about them being shot as varmints.

Does it ever, but then again I come from a family who at times did not know where their next meal was coming from, so ya, seeing food go to waste while kids starve is a pretty big problem for me.

You'll love bear hunting in SK then....only part you are legally required to retain is the hide. You can leave the rest.

I sure hope you Ontario guys keep the meat from all those ground hogs you blast

Very very interesting rules and Regs in Aus, Victoria specifically, which is a state of Aus.

so i love reading what gets posted on CGN in regards to all the rules and Regs surrounding proper GAME animals... yeah they are native , unlike ours, but there is a fair few of us wanting some more Rule and Regulation into our current Deal... slowly it is happening i think an next year we are seeing some changes with Game licensing and a accuracy test similiar to sweeden Moose..... i believe. especially for hound dog hunting of our big pest game deer.." " .

the meat side of life has only just in the past 2-3 years been LEGALIZED to take your Wild shot game to a Butcher.......... FFS......

2 to 3 years ago since thats been allowed, that reads. that might give you some understanding of where our game rules and regs, respect and mismanagement is at right now.
"Harvesters" since the past 6 years have been shooting them like a "professional Roo shooter" for Chillers to be produced mainyl as Dog food but a small percent going to France as Wild Game meat.... assuming big businesss but small trading, shooters making money per KG (low) but in doing so target big stags not hinds ALAS we still have a major unbalanced wild herd of sambar with hinds creating this image of "over population grass eater pests" ... too much emphasis on stags and no regs to say ya can only shoot XX amount or 3 points or whatever......... just go for it. lol.

longest story...... still getting played out today.... lots to learn and someone from CANADA in game mannagement and or hunter management could really make some waves down under , if ya got in with the right shoulders..... !!!

wishful thinking, il just keep lookin at the rules and regs in cgn and say, thankfully we dnt have that strict rule, but gees that other rule would be good.

No groundhogs left, the coyotes ate them all and the farming practices have changed.

I keep what I shoot, I am not someone to toss goose legs to the coyotes.

Remember why hunting gets a ban name from antis, going out and shooting a bear to take the hide and leave it in the bush aggravates the stereotype of trophy hunters and waste, it will cause us to lose hunting.

I know what you are saying, it is culling, it is getting rid of invasive species, I do not have a problem with that, but with both sides of my family having almost nothing through the Great Depression in the 30s and my moms side essentially being impoverished until they died it is really hard to see food just being left like that.

My grandma used to wash meat with vinegar to get the slime off it because there was no other option and they would forage, hunt, fish and grow their own food just to get by.

We in Ontario cannot even donate our wild meat to a soup kitchen because it is not inspected, which is stupid, but we can give it to families in need and I know of a lot of that happening in the last few years.
