well.....I like it. got that AR look.

I got the Norinco AR Carry handle off of a CGN member,
The front site is off a gen 3 T97

but does it work ? You Bet !
6 inch plates at 100yards every time.

I did it because I miss taking my AR to the range. I wanted something that kinda felt and looked similar.

I WANT to be supportive, but wow, that's fugly! And I say this as a guy who tried the exact same setup, except with a fixed AR-style front sight and an A1 stock. I hated the look so much that I immediately stripped the parts back off and tried something else. Mine (and yours) reminded me of a Ford Escort trying to look cool with Ferrarri parts.

But hey, it's your gun. If you like it, enjoy it! :)

I'm not trying to be an arse, but is it that interesting you haf to start a new thread? One of the most common semis around with some very common iron sights

well , the engine in my truck needed fixing,..so I unfortunately had to sell it off.

It's that AR15 buffer tube adapter that makes it so hideous. Remove that, put on a different stock, and it looks like a completely different rifle. Something like this, for example, or the Galil stock:

 
Start threads and show off whatever you are stoked on, that’s what this #### is for, at the very least it stimulates community involvement, sharing of build ideas and generally *friendly communication*.

Currently stripping parts off of my M16A4 clone to do something similar. However I’m using a polymer Armalite 180b lower and I found a 12” BCM quad rail for the hand guard… as the piston prevents using my KAC ras. I currently have a clamp on F marked A2 front sight block in the mail that should work well with my Armalite A2 carry handle. Using a Colt A2 Buttstock with a Stormwerkz buffer tube adapter. I’d rather pull cool parts off of rifles I have in purgatory… and use them on a 180; even if it is just lipstick on a pig at the end of the day.

Absolutely, another example of a lowered buffer tube adapter. Not to mention it makes the cheek weld with an optic perfect.
