I had a 357 -7 talos ,as well.
Nice gun as well.
Also had the 686 5 inch barrel,with the smooth cylinder.
I liked the 6 better.
I'm trying to figure out the age of my current 686, I think it may be one of the first ones.

Staying on point of aim through a DA trigger pull is the new trick there.

Shifting gears between DA and SA revolvers is a bit of an adjustment when you've got both. Shooting alternate strings DA and SA from the same revolver can be good practice too, getting used to the difference while all else is the same.

I like to take the used frying pans and hang em up at 100 yards.
