Any of our sponsors ship ammo by Purolator?

Turns out UPS considers the city I live in too remote to ship ammo here. I know we lost a bunch of couriers so I’m now unable to use the online shops I used to.

Anyone know of site sponsors that ship ammo by Purolator?

I don't get it. I just got off Purolator's website in regards to shipping ammo by ground...

Shipping Ammunition by Ground - Special Provision 125



Ammunition, such as that used in rifles and shotguns, are explosives under dangerous goods regulations. Explosives cannot be shipped under the provisions of theLimited Quantity exemption with the exception of:
UN0012 – Cartridges for weapons, inert projectile or cartridges, small arms
UN0014 – Cartridges for weapons, blank or cartridges, small arms, blank
UN0055 – Cases, cartridges, empty, with primer





These three UN numbers may be shipped by ground under the provisions of Special Provision 125 and be prepared as Limited Quantity shipments, but must bear the diamond shaped Limited Quantity mark.

Other limited quantity markings are not acceptable.
Shipments can be declared online or using the Purolator E-Ship® Server.

Seems very few are setup to ship by Purolator. I’ve contacted many but was told they only use UPS and UPS doesn’t deliver to my postal code or several others I’ve tried in my area.

I know Purolator will ship ammo I’m just trying to figure out which online retailers already use Purolator.

You can try Firearms Outlet Canada (FOC). They started their relationship with Purolator earlier this year and I have ordered firearms from them earlier this year and they shipped by Purolator and it was nice and fast. If I remember correctly on checkout there was an option to pick Purolator or another courier. Purolator was the best price. I would presume they ship ammunition by Purolator as well since Purolator can do it and they already have a business relationship with them.

Thanks. I’m in touch with them as I often order with them. They’re looking into this to see what options exist.

I have found Alfred excellent to deal with. He is responsive and very customer focused, even custom ordering parts for me. I am sure he will work something out with you.
 
Struck out with both.

From my call today Purolator isn’t allowing multiple companies in a given area to be able to ship ammo. They want one approved shipper per region. Would clarify on how big a region is. No more private shipping of ammo either.

Northern Elite has what I’m after but cannot ship it to me unless it goes through the competitions business as they’re the only approved Purolator shipper allowed in that area.

Crazy.

If I was you I'd just make a day of it and go buy more than you need .
