Your pictures are piss poor , the certifies will give you some info
Bottom one looks like a smith model 19 357m/38 sp, prohibited 4 in spld a good one for 400.oo, if 12-6
next Colt 1911 A1 38 super, looks poor? 500.oo-1000.oo. can't see it good enough
1911 custom built 45 maybe ???????? what does the paper say?
Smith wesson 686 with a add on barrel weight and a scope rail, Value, it would have to be checked out, weight and scope don't add much ,if any value. the gun in original condition is 800.oo
Top set up, I am not up on these, a couple fellow that hang out here will know.
If you want good info , better pictures and take the stupid trigger locks off, and show both sides of the guns.

Agreed, my dad took the pictures and he did not follow my instructions :/

Thanks , the pistol on top is a thompson center.

Most of these look like handguns used for different shooting disciplines from back in the seventies, eighties and early nineties.

Top one is a Thompson Center Contender. They were really popular with both wildcatters, and silhouette shooters. A lot of the value depends on condition, but also on what the barrels are chambered in. Generally the Carbine version (NR) goes for more than the pistols (restricted) With one barrel probably $600-$800, with the second barrel adding $200 to the price.....again depending on hat the calibers are. Silhouette shooting has pretty much died out, so any oddball calibers used just for it, or wildcats may hold pretty much zero for interest.

I used to see a lot of these S&W revolvers with the undelug barrel weights used in various PPC shoots back in the late eighties/early nineties. Again, a pistol built for a specific discipline that has faded in popularity. Might even have been used for "bullseye" shooting. As above, I'd guess in that $700-$800 range.

The third looks like a custom build. Of course it's a 1911, but the caliber should be listed on the slide somewhere. Given that the fourth gun is a 38 super, this one may be as well. Depending on who built it, and what it was built off of, value could range from $500 to $2000, or more. Who knows. A lot depends on caliber and maker.

The fourth is again a 1911A1. Says 38 Super right on the slide. Another "competition" gun. 38 Super is popular for IPSC and USPCA shooting. They build a lot of "Race" guns in this chambering as it meets the "major" power factor threshold, (which 9mm doesn't) yet has mere manageable recoil than 45 ACP. Price really depends on who made it. If it was Colt it could be worth $1000 or more. If it was Les Baer maybe more. If it was Norinco - $300?

The fourth is a S&W Model 29 I believe, in 44 mag. Has custom Pachmyr grips added. Looks to be a 4" prohib. Generally a 29 will be worth in the $800-$1000 range? (somebody should be along to dispute this), but if its a prohib, realistically you'd be lucky to get $350 for it.

Just my opinion, from what I can see, and the info that I have (which isn't much) They are some nice old guns, my guess would be from the eighties and nineties. He was obviously interested in some different disciplines of competitive shooting. Unfortunately, mot of the competitions that he bought these for have changed a lot in the last 40 years, or have faded from popularity.
