Great looking gun, looks to be ideal for upland shooting (depending on the weight). I've never heard of a "swastika eagle" and I don't see them clutching a swastika on the proof marks in the photos, or do I? In any case, they are well hidden.

One the trigger plate screw looks buggered?
Weird that they went through the trouble of engraving the screws inside the forearm, but didn't center the pattern?

The "Reichsadler" is the German eagle symbol. During the Nazi period, a swastika was part of the emblem. No evidence of any swastikas with the eagles on this shotgun. I believe that the current version is the "Bundesadler".
Suhl was in the area of Germany occupied by the Soviets, so 1946 was the first year of Soviet occupation.
