Hey guys

I was just watching military arms channel. Mac was reviewing the m96 and said there’s a rumour that Robinson arms will be doing a small production run of these or is doing them. Just wondering if anyone here has heard or knows anything about some possibly coming to Canada. I don’t think these made the chopping block. Would be nice to get these in and as much of them as possible.

They have stating they will do the Bren design if there’s enough interest. And said the production run is going to be pretty limited. Pricing is ballpark 2500-3000$ for the standard configuration and 3500-4000 for the bren. Info from thier website. Would be pretty cool if there’s vendors or importers working to bring them in.
 
What about spare parts? Years ago now I knew of a few Yankees that were pissed off because of that.

Since I saw this thread I've been trying to find the source (to no avail) where I read that RA isn't really doing a new production run of these rifles. What they are actually doing is using up all the spare parts they have sitting around and only making the few things necessary to finish complete builds. Once they build however many rifles their parts stash allows them to build it is the end of the road.

If someone knows the source of what I'm talking about please post. Likewise if someone can prove this incorrect please post.

I read the same thing. Can't recall where.
 
I have had several M96’s over time, and quite liked them.
However…..when RobArms announced that they wouldn’t be supporting the platform anymore with the supply of parts, I sold it before something critical broke, and it became an expensive paper weight.
Currently, my choice in firearms is dictated by the availability of a supply of spares, and if none are readily available, but it still seems desirable, I will obtain two….one to use, and one in backup or to be cannibalize for parts…..

TL:DW They found enough parts to build a 200 rifles, which they did and presold in 2020. Unless anyone has any new info, there is no new RA M96's it was just this short run and they are long gone.

Thanks for posting that. Doesn't look like we will see any of them although there is still the option of importing from Gunbroker or something. But it will cost $$$$$ if you can find one.
 
I'd buy one.

Part of the family, the stoner 63 is unreal from gun jesus's vids.

The LAMG/AMG on forgotten weapons is worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
 
It would be cool if a company nowhere near as flakey and preferably with zero ties to RobArm picked up the Stoner 63 and ran with it.
