Hey all, can anyone get me the following dimensions for a Lee Pro-1000's Bent Z-Bar?

Just looking for the A, B & C dimensions. Inches or MM, matters not.

Thanks.

Lee has informed us that the Pro 1000 requires the Bent Z Bar for not just the 45 ACP, but also the 40 S&W, the 45 HP Italian and the 45 Auto Rim. They did NOT say it is needed for the 10mm Auto, despite it's similarity to the 40 S&W. The Lee representative said an alternative to purchasing a pre-bent bar would be to just bend the existing bar 1/8 inch to clear the case loading mechanism.

And what does that do to loading cartirdges other than 45 ACP & 40 S&W? If no difference then why bother making a straight one? I don't want to ruin my straight one and find out that it is no longer functional for other calibres due to the bend.

Goto www.leeprecision.com and order online a new z-bar for $2 and bend the heck out of it. Or use your present one to get the measurements to make as many as you need and bend one of them, 1/8 in. to clear the case loading mechanism.

Nothing, just use the bent one.

Also, use 1/8" welding rod and make your own.

Laugh. Ordering from Lee to Canada incurs the $4 shipping & 35% fees by Lee.
My $2 Z-Bar = $7 suddenly.

Or I can buy a 4' piece of 1/8" steel rod for under $2, bend it to the bent dimensons (if anyone ever measures one) of a bent Z-Bar. No images exist online for the bent one, at least in a view that actually shows the bend.

Sigh...

I just filed a small notch in the bottom of the case feeder where it contacted the Z bar. I worked for me.

Lee used to have a picture on their web site.
