Put together a video of my lightweight precision rifle build.

So far I have been able to shoot just under MOA at 500 yard with the lightweight rifle and small scope.

Really happy with the build.

Awesome video!

Your new set up looks fantastic. You're really gonna need that brake for a just over 7 pound rig like that!

Question for you: what's the rifle chambered in and what are you hoping to hunt with it?

Hello! Thanks for watching!
Rifle is chambered in 6.5CM I plan on taking it sheep hunting this year. Recoil is still very manageable.

Where did you order the XLR 4.0 chassis? Direct?
I though I had my mind made up on the MDT HNT26 for a hunting/hybrid build but now I'm not so sure....

You'd be crazy not to go with the HNT26, if I was a righty I'd be on that like a fat kid on cake.

maybe.
weight seems to be a wash between the two. the HNT26 should be warmer on the hands, and should snag less in the bush. but the 4.0 looks like it may be better for bench/belly shooting (appears to have a longer fore end, and XLR makes a rear bag rider for it).

No experience with the XLR 4.0 but I've shot the HNT26 (and have one coming) and it's a hell of a nice, lightweight chassis.

I ordered through Lockhart tactical, they would not be my first choice again as they took my money and never ordered the chasis for 3 months I had to contact Xlr myself to figure out what was happening with my order because Lockhart would not reply to my emails. There are 2 other vendors in Canada.
International shooting supplies and bighorn sales.

What’s the actual weight of the hunt 26 once you add the arca Swiss rail? The 4.0 has it integrated and a level which is a nice feature. The hunt 26 is nice though.

Chalk up a other one for " Lockhart Tactical ", thank you nathank sorry you had to go through all the BS.

Gary at Bighorn Sales is a go to every time. Always excellent service and quality inventory.

Thanks man, it is what it is I guess. I never had issues with ordering from them in the past but they made zero effort to make things right with this order so I will never use them again.
