tmj 452 in 450 bm

i want to try a reduced load in my 450 bm using 452 plated bullit . Has any one tried this.

.452" bullets in 45-70 didn't work great. With Unique powder i got 6-8" and keyholing at 50 yards.

a 45 70 is a 458 bullit a 450 bm is a 452 . i already loaded 45 acp 452 fmj in my 450 bm 12 grains unique 1 inch at 50 yds

I guess I don't know what a 450 BM is, thought you meant 450 Marlin.

Ahh, that explains it. BM used to mean bowel movement. I was pretty sure he wasn't talking about that.

The guy in the stand beside you might have one of those if your shooting a Ruger Ranch with a break!! F'n loud. Off the bench it will move grass/bushes 10-15' either side of you.

Bowel movements and muzzle brakes - neither one is especially suitable for hunting conditions.
