You know what, you can dig it up yourself. Besides, this thread is getting completely off-track, and I got better things to do than argue on forums at 5 a.m
An example:
Current members of the Human Rights Council of the UN
The General Assembly elected the following 15 members: Bolivia, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, France, Gabon, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russian Federation, Senegal, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Uzbekistan.
I see a few shining examples of stalwart human rights supporters, Bolivia,China,Cuba,Gabon,Malawi,Mexico,Pakistan,Russian Federation,Senegal,Uzbekistan.
You want this bunch making UN human rights policy?
Remember these guys were voted in by the rest of the UN membership!
You could be hyper sensitive and that's why you wanted to sell all your guns.
The #### do you know about me.
I want to sell my guns because I don't want to be associated with people like you

It's a political act for YOU. For me, it's a ####ing cordless paper puncher.
It never occurred to you that sometimes, people just want to have fun?
This really says a lot about you.
It's amazing what they'll do simply because they can't handle hearing the truth.
what gets me is that people forget things that the liberals have done to mess up our country. then they vote them in anyways.
Its also political for Poly, the liberals, the NDP and the Bloc so just because you didnt want it to be political doesnt mean it wasnt...
It means you walked in with rose colored glasses on and were shocked by the reality...
You know what? You're absolutely right. I've never seen a hobby that is so packed with politics and I hate politics. As I've said yesterday, if I knew beforehand I would never have gotten my pal.
Can I have your guns?

O
The shooting sports or gun hobby is the same as religion ...sorta. There is nothing per say wrong with sport, hobby or religion itself. It’s the people involved that tend to muck it up. If you just bought a few guns and went to Range on occasion to shoot them and went home afterward...probably no issues right? But if you wanna start hanging out with folks you meet at the Range and join gun blogs or forums like these and completely immerse yourself in all aspects of this hobby ...well..your going to run into all kinds of people who rub ya the wrong way. And this pretty much goes for most things in life.
Just a tip though...if it’s the politics of guns and such that turn you off, a simple solution is to quite simply not partake in these sort of threads in this forum.
My point is, I've been bashed so much for not having the same point of view than the rest that I don't think I really care about what happens with guns anymore.
When I first got my pal, firearms and politics were two very different things in my head.
