I just don't see how you are being bashed so much. There were strong disagreements with your assessment of Canadian culture and the levels of crime in the concealed carry thread.

You did the bashing in the mass confiscation according to Blair thread when you said "I think they should rename this forum to "Canadian Nutz" when someone talked about UN gun control.

LOL...got to be a PPC supporter,a party that's even lower than the Greens,if Bernier wasn't such a rabid nut job willing to say anything to get gun owners to vote for him,he might have a chance,but everything he says he would NEVER be able to do anyways,but the suckers swallow it all.time to be a realist,vote CPC. if you care what happens to CANADA,The Turd wants to destroy Canada as much as possible and fill his pockets with as much stolen tax dollars before he gets booted out,i'm hoping for a complete extinction of the Liberal party,just like Ontario did,

I found another reason that Trudeau wants an early election, he wants to beat the redistribution of electoral districts. Alberta has been way behind in representation for some time, the worst representation by population in Confederation. Alberta has 20,000 more voters per MP than Quebec and 10,000 more voters per MP than Ontario, we’re due more seats and he can’t stand a fair fight. This....I’m astonished how people on CGN are divided knowing all too well that it might be the end of our hobby and freedoms if the liberals get a majority. Get over and vote CPC. I don’t like everything they do ( the CPC)..by far actually....but if that’s what it takes to keep my guns, then be it

You don’t need guns to “detox the school system” or to “spread information”. And I don’t think anyone is dumb enough to turn on their fellow neighbours simply because of differing philosophies of life. Times are changing whether people like it or not.

I see many people here have extremely short memories and don't remember all the "Stop Harper" signs in parliament 8 years ago.

Also the irony/contradiction of some of the signatures in this thread are absolutely comical.

You know what? You're absolutely right. I've never seen a hobby that is so packed with politics and I hate politics. As I've said yesterday, if I knew beforehand I would never have gotten my pal.
 
Latest polls are showing liberal support dropping with the news of an election call. I dont think people want an election right now. Hopefully it blows up in the smucks face.

The shooting sports or gun hobby is the same as religion ...sorta. There is nothing per say wrong with sport,hobby or religion itself. It’s the people involved that tend to muck it up. If you just bought a few guns and went to Range on occasion to shoot them and went home afterward...probably no issues right? But if you wanna start hanging out with folks you meet at the Range and join gun blogs or forums like these and completely immerse yourself in all aspects of this hobby ...well..your going to run into all kinds of people who rub ya the wrong way. And this pretty much goes for most things in life.

Just a tip though...if it’s the politics of guns and such that turn you off, a simple solution is to quite simply not partake in these sort of threads in this forum.

Thats pretty much it... I wasnt't trying to ruin it for anyone. It's just the nature of the beast and politics has officially invaded everything... and it sucks...

One of the things I loved about sports was it was a universal thing kind of like motorcycling... You talk to people you wouldnt normally talk to and you instantly have something in common... I think its sad we have seemingly lost that bridge.

Back when the Raptors were in the finals you could walk into a bar and everyone was just there to cheer and no one cared about the politics... now it's plastered all over the court...

The gun debate is one of the most contentious issues as well... and the people on both sides are very entrenched because of it....
