Is there a 22lr shortage?

there seems to be more around now than there was 6-7 moths ago

Prices are significantly higher

Paid $322 for a case of 5000 CCISV before the CV19
Its up around $600 now

Don't forget taxes and shipping for the online stores. It adds 2-3cents per round and adds up when you get several bricks.
As for 'supply', I'm in Moncton NB and one of 2 Wallys completely dropped ammo and the other has Very Little - like a few boxes last I looked. Same with CanTires, one dropped - one very little and very pricey. And One BassPro with only a few brands on hand, been that way since early 2020. Went from almost 2-sides of an aisle full of rifle/pistol ammo to only the top 3-shelves of one side. Lots more shotgun ammo, but still less than before C. Only one LGS here and I got most of his better 'medium priced' .22 last Spring - SK+, SK Magazine, CCI-SV, Fed Champion 40gSV. Very little left of .22.

That is a good deal, a buddy and I split a case for 600 shipped at the start of the "shortage" and I thought we were laughing, well he is because his RPR shoots em like a dandy, my CZ hates them

I picked up a new Glock 44 in May along with a 500 brick of CCI Mini Mag 22LR. My research showed this was the best 22LR ammo for Glocks. Enjoy the gun immensely, great for training. Haven’t gone thru the entire brick yet, have about 120 rounds left. Both Tenda and FOC seem to have a some ammo available.
