Whats your favorite shotgun for upland hunting?

One of my Browning 12, 20, .410 Superposeds, or the BSS 20. The 12 lightning 26” Skt & Skt with Pheasants was my mainstay upland gun for 20 odd years. Deadlyist on Ruffies but then having added the others, I enjoy all of them but do lean towards the 20 Superposed 28” Skt & LtMod for the carry weight having reached my sixties.

Nice collection!

Lots have come and gone. Ithaca 37, stevens 235 (I think), 1970s wingmaster.. Last year I mostly used this pretty wingmaster with 26" light contour barrel.

The one gun that has always stuck around is my handed down Tobin 16ga. Side by sides seem the "proper" gun for upland hunting but to each their own.

Recently acquired a Husqvarna 210 to try this year. Can't wait.

Browning Silver 12ga. I'd love a 20 gauge O/U with 28" barrels for flushing birds, just for something a bit easier to carry. But the Silver fires off and cycles light loads beautifully with little recoil, so it's a want more than a need.

On Wednesday I'm taking my Parker out for a walk with my boys. It was gifted to me by my wife's great uncle Charles on his 100'th birthday in 1988. It is my most treasured gun as it reminds me of a truly classy English gentleman. ( I had hair then and it wasn't grey)

For me it’s my cherished Remington 870 special field in 12 Guage 21inch remchoke barrel with English straight grip stock. Early fall when bush is thick and dense i use full choke cause the little buggers only run and won’t fly lol and later in the fall the choke goes to improved modified for the flyers always use no4 shot. It’s a an upland birds worse nightmare that gun lol it’s 4:30 am here and iam just getting it loaded in truck as we speak it’s opening day here and headed out for some early grouse
